HE IS COMING

Every individual is a matchless gift from God
Discover and cherish their attributes
Accept and overlook their bad tendencies for a time
Pray they will overcome these faults
With the help of Jesus Christ

Cling to Jesus to show you His way
Let the Bible enlighten your path
Be kind to all you encounter

Let your light of love shine brightly
Leading people out of darkness
Teach them God’s way
Many will join a good cause
Invite them to spread the gospel with you
Preparing the lost
For God’s eternal Kingdom to come
Teaching the truths found only in the Bible

Ready the masses for the reign of Jesus Christ the King
He promised to come again in glory
To welcome those wearing His robe of righteousness
A gift accepted by those who acknowledge
They cannot save themselves, not by works
Nor by any human effort
Only by humbling themselves and bowing to Jesus
Accepting His sacrifice on the cross of Calvary
And looking to Jesus for forgiveness if we sin

For the Holy Spirit enables us to come,
Confessing and repenting
Joyfully resuming the new life we’ve found in Christ
Confident God the Father will see in us
Only the righteousness of Christ

What a gift!
What a Savior
Accept Him into your heart now
For the signs of the times indicate
He is coming soon

HE IS FAITHFUL

God promised throughout the Old Testament He would send a Savior who would ultimately crush Satan and free His people from the result of sin — eternal death. With the birth of Jesus Christ this promise began its fulfillment. “For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, which is Christ the Lord” (Luke 2:11).

The Bible makes it clear salvation is only through Christ. “That by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead, neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved” (Acts 4:10,12).

If we sin, we can claim God’s promise: “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness” (1 John 1:9).

The cleansing of sin is made possible only by the spilled blood of our Savior in death, a death we deserve. “For the wages of sin is death” (Rom 6:23).

We can come to Jesus in our battle with sin with confidence He relates: “Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need” (Heb 4:14-16).

Jesus reveals God’s plan for those who accept His grace: “In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also” (John 14:2,3). What a wonderful promise of hope our Lord extends to us.

In the book of Revelation, the apostle John, detained on the island of Patmos, writes what Jesus Christ reveals to him will occur in the life hereafter: “And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things have passed away” (Rev 21:4). What a beautiful promise for those who reciprocate the Lord’s faithfulness.
